What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at The Specialty Manufacturing Company?
The Receptionist will be responsible for managing all incoming calls and the successful transfer to the appropriate department(s). He/ She will greet all incoming visitors and assist them with their needs or connecting them with the appropriate team members. This role will assist other departments with administrative functions as needed and will interact with all levels of the organization. This is an hourly position that will report to our Human Resources Manager.

Essential Job Duties
- Answer telephones and transfer calls to appropriate personnel
- Meet and greet customers and visitors
- Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing and order entry
- Manage and maintain the company’s office supplies, including procurement of supplies and management of supplies inventory.
- Assist in the management of the company’s office equipment, including the scheduling of repairs on such equipment
- Entering of job/production labor into the company’s computer system
- Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office
Education:
- High School diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- 1 years of administrative work experience
- 1 years of receptionist work experience
Knowledge/Skills:
- Solid organizational, mathematical and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of and experience with MS Excel and Word
- Strong social skills, ability to interact with employees, customers and visitors
- Strong phone and speaking skills
Salary : $19 - $21
