Job Summary:
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative and operational functions of the practice. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service to both clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare administration and a passion for supporting a team dedicated to improving lives through speech therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the office, ensuring efficiency, organization, and cleanliness.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and staff.
- Oversee scheduling of appointments and coordination of therapists’ calendars.
- Handle client inquiries and billing.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Order and manage office supplies and materials.
- Manage billing in accordance with county and state regulations.
- Implement and improve administrative systems and processes.
- Adapt as needed to the dynamic needs of the practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in office management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical billing and HIPAA compliance.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Positive, friendly, and organized.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and willingness to be trained in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
