The Regional Sales Manager is an energetic, persuasive, solution-focused, entrepreneurial sales professional that will be responsible for the sale of Company Solutions & Services to targeted prospects throughout the Pacific Northwest including Northern California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho and specified geographies or vertical markets nationwide.
The RSM will execute the entire sales process to both existing customers and new prospective customers; will provide after-sale support and customer service obligations; and will interface and collaborate with internal Company departments to ensure the execution of the delivery and installation process.
Essential Functions
- Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and both annual and quarterly revenue quotas by contacting potential & existing customers via phone, email, and in-person (cold / warm calls, trade shows, etc.) in the commercial and educational markets, initiating and completing the entire sales process including contacting prospects, scheduling appointments, understanding business needs, qualifying opportunities, making presentations, developing solutions and proposals, forecasting, and overcoming objections to close the sale.
- Engaging target prospects, using business acumen and consultative skills to identify business issues and position Company to solve said issues where the use of innovative greenhouse solutions enhances their business.
- Responsible for hunting for new business through research and client access
- Learn and articulate the Company value proposition to prospects and clients
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships by demonstrating Company’s value and achieving high levels of client satisfaction.
- Create quotes, proposals, and draft specifications to establish all product requirements and needs for the customers.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations to customers.
- Determine the value of prospective sales and meet gross sales and gross margin goals.
- Enter and maintain sales data, communication stages, and opportunity status within the CRM system weekly.
- Partner with internal departments to prepare proposals and transfer new orders into operations.
- Assist project managers and customer support to ensure the delivery, movement and installation of products and services.
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships by demonstrating Company’s value and achieving high levels of client satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Salary : $200,000
