Description
The Spine Hospital of Louisiana seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. The Maintenance Technician II will maintain the hospital's physical plant and ensure all equipment functions safely and efficiently. This individual will work closely with our facilities management team to ensure that the hospital's infrastructure supports delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include the following :
- Perform routine maintenance on hospital equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain and repair hospital infrastructure, including walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Advanced education preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance and repair work.
Licenses / Certificates : None
Special Skill : Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements : Must be able to stand and walk eight hours a day, bend and squat repeatedly, push and pull equipment continuously, lift heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces.
