Description
We are looking to hire a trustworthy and reliable pool grounds service technician to service and maintain our 25 bathhouse pools and buildings. As a pool technician, your duties will include driving customer satisfaction through the maintenance and upkeep of the pool grounds, testing waters, as well as repairing light fittings, leaks, cracks, and faulty equipment.
To ensure success as a pool service technician, you should have excellent knowledge of building and general maintenance, be able to work with hazardous chemicals, and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
Requirements
Pool Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Maintaining equipment and chemical stock levels at store.
- Testing pool water and temperatures.
- Cleaning swimming pool using authorized equipment.
- Fixing cracks or leaks in the swimming pool structure.
- Fitting and repairing pipes for spas and pools.
- Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning equipment.
- Maintenance and upkeep of buildings and pool area.
- Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management.
Pool Service Technician Requirements:
- Min High school diploma.
- Previous experience as a pool technician or maintenance tech, construction experience a plus.
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and equipment repairs.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.

Requirements
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field required.
- At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Trade school and/or College course work in related field helpful.
Physical requirements:
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required. Must be able to work weekends & Holidays.
- Heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Work environment:
- Indoor and outdoor hotel building, facilities, and structures
- Occasional to frequent work in hotel rooms, common areas, facilities, that may require ability to work in confined and small area workspaces.
- Outdoor work requires exposure to weather elements that may be hot, cold, wet and dry conditions.
