Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required, and we offer training on basic food safety and hygiene practices.
Main Duties:
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, with all equipment and utensils in good working condition.
- Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Help manage stock and supplies, ensuring they are properly stored and labeled.
- Support the efficient delivery and storage of kitchen supplies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene (training may be provided).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Good physical stamina, with the ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy items.
This role offers competitive compensation, with salary ranging from $16.00 to 17.50 per hour.
