Our client an award winning federal integrator, assisting various federal agencies with transforming how they deliver their HR Services. They are in need of an experienced Peoplesoft System Engineer to support and lead major initiatives while coordinating projects for the technical team related to the PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 application.
This role is based in Herndon, VA and offers a REMOTE schedule, HOWEVER, candidates must be local for occasional onsite presence. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be s, able to pass the client's background check.

Responsibilities
- Manages and monitors systems and infrastructure to align with company guidelines.
- Identifies customer needs and functions in service development.
- Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, software, and management tools.
- Performs hardware and software upgrades.
- Applies software and application patches.
- Supports VMware ESXi, vCloud/vCAC on Cisco UCS and similar platforms.
- Troubleshoots Windows and RedHat infrastructure issues.
- Ensures maximum system and infrastructure availability.
- Handles warranty and support tasks.
- Implements automation for improved efficiency.
- Oversees custom software and hardware development.
- Works with teams to ensure quality deliverables within company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Masters Degree preferred)
- 10 years of experience with the following:
- Developing engineering applications for a large federal agency
- Systems technology
- Windows Server and Red Hat operating systems
- Active Directory and Exchange administration on an enterprise level
- Various services such as DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSL and SSH
- Fundamental concepts of Operating Systems and system components: memory, CPU, kernel
- Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be sand be able to pass the client's background check
Compensation
- Competitive salary range of $117K-$125K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure and certifications. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
- Employee benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, 401K plan and additional voluntary benefits. Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
