Overview
Our direct end client is looking for an experienced Database Administrator to support a US Homeland Security program. This is a long-term Federal contract located in Annapolis Junction , and there is no better time to hop on board! (Currently, these positions are working a hybrid schedule, two (2) days in office and every other Friday.) Feel good about your work, as your team looks to ensure the safety of flights in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for database administration for development, test, and production environments, with a focus on data warehousing, report, and complex purge logic.
Per our Federal Government contract, candidates must be US Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance .
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience with Database Administration (any platform)
- DB2 and RHEL experience required
- 5 years or more experience in writing and tuning queries
- Experience reviewing and implementing Database design changes
