Overview
Our client is an award winning global integrator supporting a major branch of our Armed Forces. They have an immediate need for a Strategic Planner to work a hybrid schedule at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. In this role, you will develop strategic plans, engagements, and briefings for key United States Indo-Pacific Command initiatives and global campaign strategies. Candidates must have the ability to travel to events up to 40% of the time.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.
Responsibilities
- Support Complex Deliverables: Provide expertise across multiple work streams within the Air Force Civil Engineer portfolio.
- Lead Strategic Planning: Guide strategic efforts to address U.S. military posture challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
- Evaluate Resource Allocation: Assess and optimize resource distribution to develop comprehensive contingency plans for the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
- Business Transformation & Policy Implementation: Drive strategy execution and policy integration within the PACAF enterprise.
- Governance & Documentation: Maintain and standardize Air Force governance and programmatic documents to ensure consistency in installation support services across bases.
- Organizational Change Management: Analyze transformation requirements and deliver strategic recommendations to leadership in support of PACAF transformation initiatives.
- Policy & Program Integration: Enable seamless integration of policies and programs to align with Air Force objectives.
- High-Level Planning & Engagements: Develop strategic plans, engagements, and briefings for key United States Indo-Pacific Command initiatives and global campaign strategies.
- Interagency Collaboration: Facilitate coordination with the Office of the Secretary of Defense and Joint Staff to align Indo-Pacific strategies with the National Defense Strategy.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- 5 years of experience in Indo-PACOM, Pacific operations, or Headquarters Air Force environments.
- Strong ability to break down, address, and clearly articulate complex challenges.
- Skilled in identifying gaps and developing solutions within Air Force operational frameworks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience in strategy formulation and policy development.
- Proficient in evaluating force presentation, conveying operational campaign strategies, and assessing Air Force readiness within client environments.

- W2 Hourly rate: $64 - $69. Rate is based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and is subject to change at any time.
