Job Summary: The Beach Attendant is responsible for supplying hotel guests with beach equipment, including chairs and umbrellas, to enhance their beach experience. This role involves preparing and maintaining the beach area to ensure a welcoming environment and escorting guests to their desired locations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up beach amenities, including tables, chairs, and umbrellas.
- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly manner.
- Guide guests to their designated beach areas.
- Maintain a tidy and organized beach environment.
- Address guest questions, concerns, and provide assistance.
- Handle minor emergencies, administer basic first aid, and coordinate with lifeguards or emergency services if needed.
- Store and transport equipment before and after each shift.
- Collect and organize beach equipment and towels at the end of the shift.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- CPR certification (can obtain after employment)
- Possess adequate education and literacy skills to identify and read product labels and effectively communicate with guests regarding job-related needs.
- Proficient in basic English reading, writing, speaking, and communication skills (preferred).
- Strongly prefer candidates with some experience in customer service
