The Staff Pad has partnered with one of Colorado’s largest account receivable management companies to hire a Compliance Specialist. Headquartered in Longmont, this industry leader works with organizations across all 50 states, providing expert support in managing revenue cycles.
Position Summary : The Compliance Specialist position works to resolve disputes on accounts and consumer complaints by conducting research and manages consumer calls and correspondence. This individual needs to be detail oriented and be able to adapt quickly to changes of policies, procedures and work instructions driven by regulatory updates and case law.
This is a hybrid position which requires the compliance specialist to work both in-office and from home
Essential functions and responsibilities :
- Reviews and processes consumer correspondence received via mail, fax, email, credit bureau and website
- Conducts reasonable investigations on all disputes including verifying account information such as balance information, consumer demographic information etc.
- Submits credit bureau deletion requests for a trade line that is found to be incomplete, inaccurate, or unverifiable.
- Drafts responses to consumers via mail and email
- Answers incoming calls and responses to general consumer information inquiries
- Reviews and processes incoming bankruptcy documentation received via mail or email. May also works non-legal and legal bankruptcy dispositions.
- Accesses client systems as part of investigation process and to pull documentation supporting the account.
- Address inquiries and requests from Accounting Department and Collections Department
- Performs other duties as assigned
