Manufacturing Engineer
Summary
Direct accountability for fixtures, equipment evaluation, hand tools, and time studies as required for the manufacture of assemblies and end products of the current or future program. Assist EHS Coordinator with ergonomics programs and assists with the plant Health and Safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering assistance to the design and manufacture of fixtures, machines and tools
- Review of machinery ergonomics, mistake proofing, workload, ease of assembly of components or end products
- Ensure that equipment or fixtures meet all ergonomic and safety standards.
- Assists in preparing Failure Mode Affects Analysis Reports
- Recommend modifications, improvements, or changes
