Production Manager
Job Responsibilities :
Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the seat assembly process. This includes working towards achieving continuous improvement in the areas of direct labor efficiency, first run capability, quality matrix and health and safety.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field with a minimum of three years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations Leadership role.
- Knowledge in a variety of computer software applications
- Significant Experience managing continuous improvement, product development, and industrialization projects highly preferred.
- Six Sigma / Lean Certification preferred
- Excellent systematic and problem solving skills, proficient in data analysis, and prior experience managing change, and implementation of new processes.
Essential Job Functions :

Job Responsibilities :
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the production department. Working closely with supervisors to provide guidance in dealing with routine personnel issues and disciplinary problems. Ensuring that the principles of the Magna Employee Charter, the Corporate Constitution, and Magna Operating Principles are practiced, supported, and reinforced.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years supervisory experience in a related manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications and knowledge of JIT communication devises and MRP systems.Additional Essential Job Functions :

An undergraduate degree in business related field or engineering with two years supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer skills with specific knowledge of personal computer applications such as spreadsheets and word processing; and knowledge of JIT communication devises and MRP systems.Professional and Respectful communication skills, with ability to communicate with various levels of management and employees; and ability to deliver key information in a large group setting.Additional Essential Job Functions :
