Looking for a new opportunity to get your hands dirty and put your mechanical skills to use? We've got just the job for you! The Staffing People is seeking a Shop Helper to join our team in Ellaville, Georgia.
As a Shop Helper, you'll be responsible for organizing, sweeping, and carrying items to each department. You'll also need to have a basic understanding of parts and tools to assist with everyday operations. This position requires the ability to follow instructions and work independently, as well as strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn in a hands-on environment.
The work environment for this position can be physically demanding, as the employee will be standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The ability to frequently lift and / or move items over 50 pounds is also necessary. Additionally, the employee will be exposed to hazards such as moving mechanical parts and vibration, and must wear company-provided safety equipment at all times within the facility.
