Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm; Hybrid 2-3 days in office

Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist to join our team. The AR / AP Specialist will play a critical role in managing the organization's financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounts receivable and payable processes. This role requires prior experience in government contracting including hands-on experience with Unanet software and a strong understanding of financial workflows.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor s degree in Technical, Business, or Management preferred; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AR / AP or related financial roles
• Hands on experience with Unanet software for financial processes is required.
• Experience in a government contracting or professional services environment.
• Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable operations required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of GAAP principles and practices preferred
• Accounting or finance related certifications (e.g., Certified Accounts Payable Professional - CAPP, Certified Bookkeeper - CB) preferred.
