Aerospace Integration Technician
Location : Merritt Island, FL
Salary : $46.62 / hr

Shift : Friday through Sunday, 5am to 5pm
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
- 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, aviation, integration, or another relevant field
- Experience in at least one of the following is required : fluids and tubing install, instrumentation and electrical harness routing, general Aerospace / Launch vehicle assembly
- Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions and test procedures
- Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds
- Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person
- Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles.Perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and / or maintenance.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations and other ground support equipment as required.Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges and optical measuring instruments.Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESDAbility to work off-shift, extended overtime, and weekends if / when vital.Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision.Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgroundAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.Climb ladders / stairs and work in small, restricted areasWork at Heights on work stands and in liftsPerform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbsAbility to work off-shift, extended overtime, and weekends if / when vitalOther duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and visionKeywork Searchstring : Rocket, Assembly, Aerospace Technician, A&P Mechanic, Mechanical, Production, Manufacture, Space Flight,
