Job Title: Technician Integration Engineering
Location: 8082 Space Commerce Way, Merritt Island, Florida 32953
Duration: 06 Months (Possibility to convert to FTE based on performance and clients need)
Responsibilities:
· Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage Booster according to written procedures.
· Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
· Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles.
· Perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
· Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
· Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations and other ground support equipment as required.
· Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges and optical measuring instruments.
· Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
· Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD
· Ability to work off-shift, extended overtime, and weekends if/when vital.
· Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision.

Qualifications:
· 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field
· Experience in at least one of the following is required: fluids and tubing install, instrumentation and electrical harness routing, general Aerospace/Launch vehicle assembly.
· Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions and test procedures.
· Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds
· Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person.
· Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
· Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas.
· Work at Heights on work stands and in lifts.
· Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs.
· Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
· Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field
· Proven success as a “hands-on” technical leader
· Work optimally with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities

· Experience in handling large aerospace components
· Experience in assembling large tight tolerance structures.

· Ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs.
