Department: Reservations

Reports To: Director of Revenue Management

Key Relationships: Internal (Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, Accounting), External (Guests/Visitors)

Work Area: Reservations Office

Overview:

The Reservations Agent provides courteous, prompt service, managing guest room reservations, changes, cancellations, and information requests.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process reservations efficiently, using correct procedures and maintaining departmental standards.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, resolving complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Stay informed about hotel services, room layouts, availability, rates, and promotions.
• Maintain workstation organization and handle equipment properly.
• Accurately input reservations, verify details, assign confirmation numbers, and manage special requests.
• Facilitate group bookings, update group room blocks, and manage cut-off dates.
• Compile reports, manage waitlists, and assist with promotional offers.
• Act as a brand ambassador, delivering unique, memorable experiences.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (vocational training in hospitality preferred).
• Strong English communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, work under minimal supervision, and uphold guest confidentiality.
• Relevant experience as a Reservation Agent or in guest relations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits

· Hourly Range $25.30/hr
