Position Overview and Responsibilities:
The primary functional activity and responsibility is to support DivTel’s administrative assistant with daily task for the Bureau of Customer Service. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assign NOC SIMS Incidents
- Assist with NOC TSlll duties as a backup
- Maintain 411 Directory
- Update and maintain Phonebooks/Division phone list
- Assist Service Delivery with assigned projects
- Tracking Projects
- Assist the team with additional duties as needed
- Tracking agency migrations
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist with reports
- Straighten and maintain the breakroom
- Assist with planning/coordinating retirement/holiday/teambuilding events
- Assist with property/inventory task
- Make periodic trips to deliver or receive items from Bldg. 4050
- Straighten and maintain the copier room and directors conference room
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills, and able to proofread and edit documents accordingly.
- Knowledge of the methods of data collection.
- Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication.
- Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
- Ability to prioritize workload.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent and two years of secretarial or clerical work experience.
- College education or vocational/technical training in a related field can substitute for each year of the required experience.
- Ability to spend prolonged periods of time performing sedentary work, involving repetitive motion.
