Your Specific Responsibilities:

This is a Part Time OPS position Monday – Friday 3pm – 7pm for 20 hours per week.

This is routine manual work involving responsibilities for maintaining all areas of the Alachua County Health Department City of Alachua Clinic in a clean and orderly condition.

Maintains restrooms and work areas throughout the building, including cleaning and replenishing

supplies daily. Sweeps, mops floors and/or operates vacuum cleaner. Disposes of trash. Dusts and

waxes equipment and furniture as required. Washes inside and outside windows. Washes facings and glass of all inside doors. Washes walls. Follows schedule for cleaning and maintenance.

Maintains break rooms and keeps refrigerators, sinks and tables clean daily.

Maintains all equipment by checking for needed repairs and making minor repairs. Reports to

supervisor any damages to equipment and the need for service. Is alert to needed building repairs and notifies supervisor.

Assists Safety Coordinator with inspections of safety signs to ensure proper usage and updated

equipment is used correctly.

Picks up trash and debris from outside the premises daily.

Responsible for securing the designated information sets for the purposes of protecting confidentiality, data integrity, and appropriate access, for all information, both confidential and public record, which is stored in hard copy or electronic formats.

Performs other duties as required.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to follow oral & written instructions and work independently.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Ability to complete mandatory trainings.

Travel within the county for our two satellite locations.


Qualifications:

Minimum – Reliable transportation.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Preferred – High School Diploma
