Position: Shift Leader
Location: Kentucky Oaks Mall, Paducah, KY
Type: Part-Time to Full-Time | Flexible Scheduling | Growth Opportunities
What You'll Do:
Operations & Leadership
- Open and close the restaurant following all checklists and procedures
- Lead the team during shifts with a positive attitude and clear direction
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards
- Step into any role when needed — grill, sandwich line, fryer, register, or lemonade stand
- Monitor food quality, ticket times, and speed of service
- Handle daily cash drops, safe counts, and reconcile register drawers
Team Support & Training
- Train new employees and model proper procedures
- Motivate crew members with a can-do attitude and lead by example
- Help implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Address minor conflicts or customer complaints with professionalism
- Communicate effectively with management and escalate issues as needed
Customer Experience
- Ensure guests are greeted with a smile and served with care
- Monitor lobby, condiment station, and restrooms for cleanliness and restocking
- Double-check orders for accuracy before serving or bagging
- Handle DoorDash, online orders, and catering pickups efficiently
Special Assignments
- Support promotions and seasonal menu rollouts
- Help prep and run MikeyMike’s Lemonade stand inside the restaurant
- Assist with inventory counts and supply restocking as directed
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in quick-service or fast-casual food (preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash
- Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, some holidays)
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
