Summary :
Prepares and applies finishes to aircraft furniture, ensuring high-quality results aligned with specifications and engineering designs.
The role involves finishing, repairing, and polishing furniture using various tools and materials while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Required Skills :
High School Diploma or GED.
2 years of wood finishing experience.
Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
Proficient in using sanding tools, spray equipment, adhesives, and solvents.
Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, climb ladders / stairs, and work in confined spaces or any shift.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Basic computer literacy.
Desired Skills :
Experience in the aerospace industry.
Familiarity with inspection and process specifications.
Knowledge of Lean Six-Sigma and process improvement techniques.
Attention to detail and ability to perform high-quality repairs and finishing tasks.
