Hydraulic Fabricator I - 1st Shift

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related hydraulic experience.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  
  

Position Purpose

• Fabricate fluid transfer lines/tubing and/or hydraulic parts to support the next assembly areas.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained.
  
  

Essential Functions

• Cut tubing to size per the engineering specifications.
• Bend tubing on the tube benders while maintaining specified blueprint tolerances.
• Setup and operate deburr machines to ensure proper finish. .
• Operate Supraport computer system.
• Build hydraulic components and subassemblies from engineering blueprints. .
• Operate identification producing equipment. .
• Identify material per engineering specifications. .
  
  

Additional Functions

• Maintain a neat and orderly work area. .
• Support company FOD program.
• Comply with company safety regulations. .
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Other Requirements

• Must be able to read and interpret blue prints..
• Must be skilled in close tolerance work and have knowledge of use of special tools and equipment.
• Must be able to use basic math..
• Employee must attend and become proficient in the following software programs: or (proficient in all software related programs required to perform job functions) Catia V5, Smarteam, Solumina training.
• Employee must obtain and become Q-stamp qualified within 6 months of signing acceptance letter. (Basic math and reading skills set forth by quality requirements).
