The Studio School is seeking an enthusiastic one-to-one teacher for an elementary school classroom.
Teachers receive in depth training in The Studio School Approach with ongoing supervision. They are responsible for working collaboratively with colleagues and administration.
Applicants must have a working knowledge of child development, the ability to work cooperatively and independently, and a commitment to personal growth.
Working towards a degree in a related field is preferred. An ideal candidate must demonstrate a warm personality and excellent interpersonal skills with children, parents, supervisors and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Foster effective communication with colleagues.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student development and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with special education professionals to support students with diverse learning requirements.
- Engage students in hands-on activities to enhance their understanding of skills and concepts.
- Lead small group activities in the afternoons.
