About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a House Manager at The Suburban Collective. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our home, including food preparation, childcare, and household management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective household management systems
- Manage household schedules, including school hours, extracurricular activities, and appointments
- Coordinate transportation for children's activities
- Assist with homework, projects, and extracurricular preparation
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage home maintenance schedules and coordinate with vendors
- Order and stock household supplies
- Coordinate home repairs, maintenance, and improvements
- Oversee landscaping, cleaning services, and seasonal maintenance
- Declutter living spaces and storage areas
- Handle package deliveries and returns
- Maintain household calendars
Food Service and Household Duties:
- Plan and prepare meals according to family preferences
- Coordinate grocery shopping and meal planning
- Prepare and pack lunches and snacks for school and activities
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Plan and prepare meals for special events and family gatherings
- Coordinate with nutritionists or dietary preferences if needed
- Evaluate food safety standards and cleanliness in food preparation
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage household staff schedules and responsibilities
- Coordinate family appointments
- Manage pet care, including feeding, grooming, and vet appointments
