Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Suit Sales Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, particularly in men's formal wear, and a proven track record in fashion retail. You will play a key role in the customer journey, from greeting clients as they enter the store to helping them find the perfect suit that matches their needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a warm and welcoming manner, providing an exceptional first impression.
- Utilize expert knowledge in men's fashion and tailoring to assist customers in selecting suits.
- Provide personalized styling advice, taking into account the customer's preferences, body type, and the occasion for which the suit is being purchased.
- Conduct detailed measurements to ensure suits fit perfectly, coordinating with tailors for any necessary alterations.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure all suits and accessories are presented and maintained to the highest standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in men's fashion and formal wear to provide informed recommendations.
- Manage inventory, ensuring the availability of a wide range of sizes and styles.
- Process sales transactions and handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and patience.
- Foster long-term relationships with customers by providing follow-up services, such as alteration updates and satisfaction check-ins.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (3 years) in fashion retail, specifically in men's formal wear.
- Exceptional knowledge of suit styles, fabrics, fits, and accessories.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and understand their needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customers simultaneously.
- Ability to manage large wedding groups and bulk sales.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and tailors.
- Basic proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- MUST work Saturdays.
- Searching for candidates willing to work in Paramus NJ or Wayne NJ (option to work Sundays)
