POSITION SUMMARY

We're looking for enthusiastic candidates, interested in continued development of new skills and eager to work in a fast paced team environment. Douron a Division of TSRC, Inc. is a leading Mid-Atlantic office and school furniture dealership. As our business continues to expand, we're seeking additional outstanding and highly motivated support team members.

The Client Services Representative assists sales representatives and clients to facilitate smooth and timely order processing. This position develops and maintains excellent working relationships with clients.

POSITION EXPECTATIONS

  • Maintains a positive attitude and engages in professional and friendly communications to foster client loyalty
  • Assists sales representatives and clients as needed regarding orders and requests via email, telephone, fax, and internet inquiries in a timely manner
  • Analyzes client and salesperson inquiries to determine appropriate product literature and pricing schedules; recommends price changes based on company/client relationship
  • Enters proposals/orders received for pricing into CORE database software, reviewing for accuracy and ensuring complete information is provided
  • Obtains payment terms, credit application, deposit, and delivery/site information from clients
  • Coordinates regularly with various internal departments including obtaining installation quotes
  • Communicates with vendors, factories, and freight companies to check on order statuses and/or troubleshoots issues
  • Reviews orders on various reports and takes appropriate actions necessary to complete orders
  • Conflict resolution and the ability to research and resolve concerns for external and internal customers
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments
  • Demonstrates excellent time management, organizational and follow up skills
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education, Certifications and /or Licenses:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience in customer service
  • Experience in commercial furnishings industry preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office Suite and other computer programs
  • Familiarity with CORE preferred
  • Excellent presentation, listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively within a team – willing to roll up your sleeves and help the team get work done
  • Ability to manage and organize time to meet objectives and deadlines

PHYSICAL DEMANDS        

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to do the following:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 25 pounds in all directions
  • Communicating with others to exchange information
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

This position primarily works in an indoor office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

COMPENSATION

  • Wage range: $22.00- $25.00 per hour (starting rate will depend on experience), paid on a biweekly basis
