What You’ll Be Doing
As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you’ll be essential in supporting patients through their recovery journey. You will:
- Provide direct care and supervision to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist patients with daily activities and monitor their participation in therapeutic programming.
- Support clinical staff by observing and documenting patient behavior and progress.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in the facility.
- Foster a positive, supportive relationship with patients to encourage engagement in treatment.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking compassionate, team-oriented individuals who are passionate about helping others. Ideal candidates will:
- Have at least 1 year of experience in behavioral health, mental health, or addiction recovery (preferred).
- Be comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced residential treatment setting.
- Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
- Be empathetic, patient, and committed to providing the best care possible.
- Live locally or be willing to relocate to Cumming, GA, or the surrounding area.
