Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Your ability to engage with guests and upsell menu items will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate cash registers accurately for processing payments.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent service, answer questions about the menu, and make recommendations.
- Upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Culinary knowledge is beneficial but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
