We are seeking a skilled and motivated Custom Closet and Garage Cabinet Installer to join our growing team! As an Installer for The Tailored Closet and PremierGarage, you will be responsible for the professional installation of custom closets, garage cabinets, and organizational systems at clients' homes. This role requires a combination of technical skills, excellent customer service, and a keen eye for precision, to ensure that our clients receive a seamless, top-quality installation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Accurately install custom closet and garage cabinet systems according to design specifications, ensuring high-quality finishes and alignment.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients during the installation process, providing updates, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Site Preparation: Review and assess plans and documents to ensure proper measurements and that all materials are available before beginning the job.
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload materials, ensuring items are protected during transportation and while on-site.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Address any challenges that arise during installation, providing creative solutions while maintaining professionalism.
- Quality Control: Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and industry best practices.
- Safety: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment on the job site.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure timely and efficient installations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cabinetry installation, carpentry, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically on the job.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying materials and tools (up to [X] pounds).
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as safety standards.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work in various environments.
