A leading company specializing in advanced instrumentation and systems is seeking a Sr. Product Engineer to join the team. This role involves the development of new products through research, prototyping, and testing while adhering to rigorous design practices. The position also supports production engineers in refining and packaging equipment into finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of new products, from concept to prototype to final testing.
- Ensure product performance by analyzing customer-supplied data and working with technical leads.
- Provide training and troubleshooting support to customers.
- Author and submit technical publications to industry organizations to support product development and market presence.
- Participate in global product development discussions and act as a bridge between local customers, market needs, and global engineering teams.
- Manage communications with key regulatory agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB).
Required Qualifications:
- Master s degree in engineering or science preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
