The Talent Source is thrilled to partner with one of the largest privately held companies in the U.S. to offer an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity for a Staff Accountant . This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to make an impact in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.
Role Overview
This position reports directly to the Arizona and New Mexico Accounting and Finance Management Team and collaborates with multiple departments, including warehouse, accounting, pricing, trade development, and executive management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform month-to-month and year-to-year expense analysis with recaps, identifying General Ledger re-classifications and accruals.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
- Reconcile gross profits between financial and billing distribution systems.
- Compile and distribute monthly financial statements and reports.
- Conduct budget vs. actual expense analysis.
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts monthly and address discrepancies.
- Manage business-critical supplier relationships, maintain account aging, and conduct bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and file monthly tax reports.
- Participate in annual budget forecasting.
- Handle petty cash management and reconciliation.
- Process monthly spoils reconciliation and billing.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end corporate reporting.
- Administer monthly incentive payouts, commission processing, and payroll backup preparation.
- Coordinate with corporate teams on license renewals.
