Summer Pool Manager
The Tatnall School is seeking a responsible and experienced Pool Manager to join our summer team. The Pool Manager is responsible for overseeing all pool operations and ensuring safety of all campers and staff while they are at the pool. The Pool Manager works closely with the Director of Summer Programs and Swim Team Coach to maintain the best pool environment for the campers. The Pool Manager will oversee lifeguards, ensuring the guards are trained and comfortable performing all aspects of their certifications. The Pool Manager works closely with the swim team to get the facility ready for swim meets and any other pool events that may occur. In the event of severe weather during camp or a swim meet, the Pool Manager is responsible for determining when the pool is closed and when it is safe to reopen.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Needs to currently be Lifeguard / CPR / AED / First Aid Certified
- Must hold a current Certified Pool Operator Certification
- Previous experience teaching swim lessons preferred
- Previous experience coaching swim team preferred
- Preference is given to candidates available to work the full summer (June 1 through August 19)
- Available Monday through Friday, day time and some evening hours.
Salary Information
Compensation will be commensurate with a candidate’s skills, experience, and education level.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
