Open Door Bartender Interviews on Tuesdays & Thursdays between 1:30-3:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages while adhering to food safety standards.
- Operate POS system for efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Maintain perfect inventory and assist in bar setup for events, including catering.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall experience and drive sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area to create a welcoming environment
The Tavern has been located at 1900 West Markham Avenue in Durham for the past 16 years. Our longevity is largely attributed to our amazing Bartenders. We are looking to expand our roster and hope to find long term employees.
We are looking for Experienced Bartenders who are outgoing and like to interact with customers. The most important part of a bartender is drink knowledge and sales experience. We seek honest, hard working, and reliable people looking to find a home bar with great regulars and high volume late night grad student crowd during school season. Our bartenders often work alone and are the first welcoming face our customers see when they walk in the door. We hope to find people with a good attitude who want to meet new people and foster great relationships. As well as people with high energy, positive attitudes, team players who take initiative.
