About The Terraces at Los Altos
A distinguished HumanGood life plan community in Los Altos, CA, is seeking a Charge Nurse RN-Admissions for its skilled nursing team.
Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' needs at admission and continually evaluate their condition during their stay, promoting independence while following state and federal regulations.
- Facilitate nursing care provided to all residents, involving them in decision-making processes.
- In the supervisory role, lead the CNA, LVN, and RN team, ensuring procedures are followed during emergencies.
- Maintain that nursing staff carries out duties toward resident care, monitoring call lights and meeting resident and family needs promptly.
- Engage residents in daily activities as part of their rhythm of daily life, including hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- 1-2 years' experience as an Admissions RN
- 1 year experience supervising RNs, LVNs, and CNAs
- CPR certification
- Previous nursing experience in senior care, skilled nursing, post-acute or sub-acute care preferred
