Position Overview
The Campus Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of The Texas Girls School by overseeing enrollment, front office operations, event coordination, and communications. Reporting to the Director of Development, this position is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role combines administrative, operational, and engagement responsibilities to support the school’s mission of empowering young women through advanced STEM academics and personalized learning.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnrollment & Registration Lead (50%)
- Serve as the primary contact for all enrollment inquiries, managing “front desk” operations virtually and in person.
- Manage spreadsheet (data) of future enrollments and report to team/Director of Development.
- Call parents to greet them and answer questions about the school and waitlist.
- Collect completed enrollment and re-enrollment paperwork and ensure accuracy in enrollment spreadsheets and class rosters.
- Create and maintain student files, ensuring all paperwork is up-to-date and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Process and evaluate applications efficiently, maintain updated student records, and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Reach out to families on the waitlist once spots are offered, providing updates via phone or email.
- Answer questions and assist families with enrollment and registration processes.
- Communicate with staff regarding new students and withdrawals.
- Adhere to practices and policies when handling personal and confidential information.
- Keep enrollment policies and procedures current, and communicate changes to families.
- Create and distribute enrollment packets to families.
- Oversee the annual re-enrollment process for current families.
Communications Assist
- Draft and assist with distributing the monthly community newsletter and weekly school newsletter (when the school starts).
- Assist with creating and managing social media content for the school.
- Assist with the parent portal on the school website.
- Assist with creating presentations and handouts.
- Assist with translating documents.
Recruitment Assist (As Needed)
- Assist with community engagement events to foster strong relationships.
- Assist with event logistics, including planning, budgeting, setup, and follow-up communications. Availability for some nights and weekends as needed.
Campus Operations (50%)
Front Office Lead
- Oversee front office operations, including greeting guests, answering phones and email inquiries, and providing general support.
- Respond professionally to a variety of questions, concerns, and other matters.
Campus Culture Assist
- Assist with ad hoc support for projects and tasks that build a strong and welcoming school environment.
- Assist with onboarding teachers and supporting their integration into the school.
Campus Operations Assist
- Assist with submit reimbursements and handle purchasing requests.
- Perform clerical tasks and support the Principal.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations.
- Assist with board meeting preparation as required.

QualificationsEducation:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
Experience:
- Prior front office and enrollment experience in a school is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and willingness to use task management tools like Trello or Beautiful.ai.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Friendly demeanor and creative problem-solving abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry materials (up to 30 lbs).
- Comfortable standing or moving for extended periods during events.
Availability:
- Hybrid position: Work 1–2 days per week in the office and attend approximately two in-person events per month, including evenings and weekends.
- In Person Location: Once we begin officing at of the school.
Salary & Benefits
- $45,000 Salary
- Benefits begin 2025-2026 School Year
- Healthcare Stipend Year 0 (Feb-June)
