Location: Sea Island, Ga.
Employment Type: Part-time, Seasonal (Late May – Early October)
About the Property:
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of a privately owned resort home that is rented out seasonally. The property is occupied by the owners and their guests outside of the rental season, and the manager will ensure that it remains in top condition year-round.
Job Responsibilities:
The Property Manager will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring the property is well-maintained between rentals and owner visits. Key duties include:
- Cleaning Oversight: Confirming that the cleaning crew has thoroughly cleaned the home after each rental or owner stay.
- Inventory & Organization: Ensuring that all furnishings, kitchen equipment (including flatware, dishes, glasses, and serving pieces), and linens are clean and properly stored.
- Damage & Missing Item Checks: Inspecting for any damage or missing items after each rental.
- Pet Policy Compliance: Ensuring that no unauthorized pets have been in the house.
- Trash & Recycling: Confirming that trash and recycling have been properly disposed of.
- Plant Care: Watering any indoor or outdoor plants as needed.
- Outdoor Furnishings: Verifying that all outdoor furniture is clean and in its designated location.
- Electronics & Utilities: Checking that all TVs, Wi-Fi, and other electronics are functioning properly.
- General Home & Landscape Inspection: Conducting a full walk-through of the interior and exterior to ensure no damage has occurred and that landscaping is properly maintained.
- Vendor Management: Sourcing, hiring, and overseeing a private cleaning service, as well as managing landscapers, contractors, and subcontractors for necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Relationship Management:
- Acting as the primary point of contact with Sea Island Cottage Rentals, ensuring smooth communication and coordination for rental guests.
- Maintaining balanced relationships with Sea Island Cottage Rentals and rental guests to protect the owner's interests while fostering goodwill.
- Owner Communication: Maintaining open, timely, and effective communications with the property owner at all times.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in property management, hospitality, or housekeeping oversight preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform thorough inspections and coordinate with service providers.
- Excellent communication skills for managing relationships with renters, owners, and service providers.
- Dependability and professionalism when interacting with renters and vendors.
- Must be local or within a reasonable distance to respond promptly when needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
Schedule:
- On call
- Weekends as needed
