The Timberline is a boutique motel in Leadville, Colorado, known for its modern, nature-inspired design and exceptional guest experience. Our property includes 15 rooms and a three-bedroom, three-bath loft, providing a unique and welcoming stay for travelers. We are passionate about creating a positive work environment and are looking for a dedicated Property Manager to be the anchor of our operations.

Job Description:

We’re seeking a full-time Property Manager to oversee daily operations, guest relations, and team management. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a leadership position, and is comfortable handling both guest services and property upkeep.

Schedule:

• Thursday – Monday, 9 AM – 5 PM
• On-call for guest support after hours on scheduled workdays

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a cleaning team of 5–7 people, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee online bookings and manage guest communications via phone, text, and email.
• Be on-call for guest needs on scheduled workdays.
• Manage inventory and supplies to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide hands-on support, including filling in for team members when needed (laundry, room cleaning, etc.).
• Handle day-to-day repairs and light maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including plant care and snow removal.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work efficiently within quick turnaround times.
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
• Efficient, able to adhere to quick turnaround times without sacrificing quality

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in hospitality or property management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Tech-savvy—comfortable with online booking systems and digital communication.
• Capable of performing light maintenance and problem-solving on the spot.
• Flexible and adaptable to guest needs and seasonal demands.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Positive, outdoors-loving personality, excited about mountain-town living.
• Available ASAP.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual Salary: $40,000
• Onsite Housing: Rent-free 1-bedroom apartment with all utilities, high-speed WiFi, and DirectTV included.
• Phone plan provided.
• Monthly performance bonus based on revenue—last year, bonuses ranged from $75–$500 per month, depending on occupancy.
• Paid time off: 20 vacation days 5 sick days (vacation not permitted July 1 – August 31 due to peak season).
• Housing Policy: The property manager may have a partner live onsite, but housing is not available for children. Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis.
