Rollon by Timken is seeking an experienced Controller to join its team in Norton Shores, MI. This hands-on, on-site position reports directly to the Business President Americas and will manage all day-to-day aspects of the business's accounting and reporting functions. Our ideal candidate will posess strong ethics, integrity, and judgement and have a professional approach to their communications with all levels of our organization. This position interfaces with our Global Controlling team (Germany and Italy). Domestic and international travel will be required (5%).
Responsibilities :
- Executing the successful daily operations of the Accounting department
- Timely and accurate completion of monthly and year-end accounting close and financial reporting packages (2 day close)
- Own the business plan and financial forecast preparation and analysis processes - facilitate meetings and coordinate data inputs
- General ledger
- Inventory valuation
- AR / AP management
- Collections and monitoring aged receiveables
- Ensure proper and accurate accounting procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Manage a team of 3 (and growing)
- Partner with the leadership team by modeling and analyzing financials to assist with key business decisions
- Train leadership as needed on the financial processes and interpretation of finance documents
- Manage corporate credit cards and expense reporting (via SAP Concur)
- Manage all bank accounts
