We are looking for the premier bartenders in Virginia to join our team at the tobacco company restaurant. The tobacco company restaurant is a historic landmark that offers a fine dining experience with a casual atmosphere. We serve a variety of dishes, from steaks and seafood to salads and sandwiches, using fresh and local ingredients.
As a bartender, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the recipes and standards of the restaurant
- Taking and processing orders from customers and servers
- Maintaining the bar inventory, equipment, and supplies
- Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area
- Providing friendly and professional service to customers and co-workers
- Following all safety and health regulations and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant
- A bartending license or certificate is preferred, but not required
- A strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits
- A positive attitude, a team spirit, and a passion for hospitality
- A flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
