Key Tasks:
Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and production records to ensure accurate assembly.
Fit, position, and fasten components to build machinery or sub-assemblies using vises, clamps, wrenches, air-powered tools, pliers, etc.
Operate equipment to move and check its functions, observing and evaluating equipment performance.
Use a computer to check the location, inventory, and routing of parts.
Record information electronically and maintain production records.
