ROLE
The Towbes Group is looking for a highly skilled Marketing Intern. This internship is designed with a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of our marketing projects and operations. This position is open to highly motivated and driven individuals who are eager to explore marketing in the real estate industry, gain practical experience, and make meaningful contributions to our team. The internship will begin on March 17, 2025 and conclude on April 30th 2025.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assist in delivering communications via CommercialCafe for the Residential and Commercial Property Management Departments.
- Assist in distributing communications and press releases for The Towbes Group through Noozhawk, The Independent, and other media outlets.
- Create agendas for marketing department meetings (Strategic and Tactical).
- Coordinate property photoshoots, Matterport sessions, virtual staging, and other media with marketing vendors and on-site staff.
- Oversee the uploading of new images and videos to their respective platforms (e.g., Google, Yelp, property websites).
- Coordinate the production of rebranding collateral, including 3D site maps, 3D floor plans, updating property Boone stores, email signatures, BetterBot icons, and more.
- Assist with the setup, communication, and delivery of the Q2 Reputation Management contest (beginning April 1).
- Assist with the Commercial Properties Easter event in April, including but not limited to: attending volunteer meetings, purchasing event items, updating the internal budget tracker, coordinating volunteer nametags, organizing event signage production and installation, liaising with external vendors (e.g., DJ, printing services, 805 Camera Bus, Balloon Affair), and providing updates to the marketing team during internal calls.
- Assist with the Rodeo event in May, including but not limited to: attending Marketing and Residential Properties meetings, coordinating collateral production, managing purchases, updating the internal budget tracker, organizing event signage, and ensuring the marketing department is kept informed of ongoing progress.
- Assist with the Q1 marketing audits by addressing all edits listed by each property on RentCafe, Google, Yelp, ILS reps, Yardi reps, etc., and reporting back to the Marketing Director.
- Oversee updates to the multifamily portfolio website as needed (e.g., special updates, amenity changes). Create cases with the Yardi rep for required edits or utilize RentCafe to implement changes.
- Assist with on-site renovations as needed during the internship period.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma, or equivalent and relevant experience.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
- Our marketing internship is ideal for candidates pursuing several degrees including Business Administration, Project Management, Real Estate, Marketing, Communication or similar degree.
- Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application or must have graduated the semester immediately preceding the start of the internship.
- Minimum of Sophomore status preferred.
- Minimum of cumulative GPA of 3.0 at time of application or graduation preferred.
- Curious and coachable, personable, and patient, action-oriented and accountable.
- Motivated and enthusiastic about doing great work.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong tech-savvy competency; experience with MS Office Suite, Adobe and Microsoft Teams specifically.
- Strong organization skills, self-motivation, and learning agility to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Bias for action and desire to make a meaningful difference alongside our current teammates.
- Strong interest in the multifamily, commercial, real estate, and/or marketing industry as a preferred career field.
- Added plus are students who are involved in extracurricular activities outside of their curriculum responsibilities (i.e., student organizations, leadership roles, student athletes, etc.).

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations. Ability to create and/or write reports, business correspondence, and/or procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS AND REASONING ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and perform basic math functions. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, repetitive wrist movements, talk, hear, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may be required to stand for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift, push, pull, carry and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
