Accent Landscapes offers premier property management and landscape services to commercial and residential clients in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. We are currently in search of an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader who is energetic, reliable, hardworking, and career oriented to join our company. This individual will ensure that the crew completes tasks in a timely manner and follows safety protocols at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities Include
Essential Duties:

We are currently in search of an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader who is energetic, reliable, hardworking, and career oriented to join our company. This individual will ensure that the crew completes tasks in a timely manner and follows safety protocols at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities Include
Essential Duties:
- Ensures job site safety
- Completes job worksheets and turn in daily
- Trains crew members in an efficient and timely manner
- Installs and maintains trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, and bulbs
- Prunes trees, shrubs, and roses
- Edges and mulches planting beds and tree rings
- Promotes weed control in planting beds and tree rings
- Maintains plant health
- Identifies plant material
- Identifies insects and diseases
- Uses various types of power and hand tools while performing maintenance and installation tasks
- Provides maintenance and care of tools and equipment
- Duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Minimum of two to five years of crew leader experience
- Understands occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record per Company policy
- Must be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, such as rain, heat, sun, cold
- Knowledge of essential job functions and responsibilities
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Meet all physical requirements of the position
- Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations
- 18 years of age or older, or 21 if CDL is required
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
