What you'll do:
This role leads go-to-market and community building for The Trade Desk Edge Academy, the industry's premier education platform. Your focus will be two-fold – finding creative, on-brand ways to grow our audience via digital, experiential and sponsorship tactics, and driving alumni engagement among Edge Academy members. This role requires close collaboration across the Marketing organization, including the Edge Academy, Editorial, Digital, Creative and Brand Marketing teams.
Go-To-Market Strategy Execution:
- Driving partnership with brands, agencies, and academic organizations to help scale Edge content and syndicate it across the broader advertising industry
- Find new and creative ways to leverage Edge courses and series content to drive audience growth, including social-first assets, nurture streams and limited-run email campaigns, value-add information
- Support the launch of new Edge Academy courses (approx 8x/yr) and content series (approx 12x/yr)
- Lead "influencer" strategy to tap ad tech thought leaders for extended credibility and word-of-mouth share value
- Develop innovative ideas for advertising campaigns that generate earned media and incorporate experiential elements
- Drive annual calendar planning to ensure Edge Academy is top of mind for new and existing learners throughout the year, developing seasonal and evergreen go-to-market campaigns that are authentic, drive growth and spur enrollment
- Own Edge Academy event strategy and execution Manage email drip campaigns to nurture relationships and deepen learner engagement
- - Collaborate closely with Edge Editors to develop content, cadence and strategy to develop email drip campaigns to nurture relationships and maintain learner engagement
- Work closely with social media team to support the development and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy, focusing particularly on carrying platform community to LinkedIn and leveraging course content in platform-unique formats
- Manage creative and digital collaboration, including Asana ticketing and stakeholder reviews
- Analyze marketing and content performance data, maintaining a regular reporting cadence and identifying opportunities for optimization.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's Degree
- A strategic and operational leader with 12 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in marketing and scaling community engagement, digital marketing, or e-learning platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and apply insights effectively.
- Experience collaborating across diverse teams and managing small teams to achieve shared goals.
- Creativity, a strategic mindset, and a passion for fostering meaningful connections in a digital environment.
- A knack for gamification strategies and audience retention techniques is a plus.
