What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at The Tradesmen Group, LLC.?
The Tradesmen Group LLC (TTG) is seeking an experienced construction superintendent for projects at our headquarters in Plain City, Ohio. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety on the project, quality work standards, and client satisfaction by meeting or exceeding scheduled delivery, along with developing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with clients. Experience in historic restoration is preferred but not required.
TTG is an award-winning full-service building rehabilitation/restoration company. We self-perform multiple trades, including all aspects of historic masonry restoration, roofing, architectural metals, carpentry, painting, and more! An employee-owned company. Candidate must be able to demonstrate a tangible commitment to safety as well as a general mindset of risk management. The superintendent will be tasked with achieving company-established benchmarks and upholding the corporate culture and its values. Other requirements of the superintendent position include:
- Proficiency in understanding the drawings, specs, schedule, scope of work, and budget provided by the Project Manager.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of roofing experience with 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Professionalism in daily communication with management, crew, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and community partners.
- Competency with computers, including Office 365, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat, is required.
- Applicants are required to pass a background check for the Dept. of Homeland Security.
- Job requires OSHA 30 training.
- Overtime will be offered.
