Job Summary:
As a Floor Manager, you will oversee restaurant operations, manage staff, and ensure an outstanding guest experience. You will work closely with the General Manager and other leadership to drive service excellence, efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the front-of-house team during service, ensuring smooth operations.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and improve service quality, guest interactions, and table turn efficiency.
- Interview, select, counsel and discipline restaurant staff for the efficient operation of the outlet.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and effectively.
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to maintain top-tier service standards.
- Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings, communicating pertinent information to the staff daily.
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, and staff performance evaluations.
- Oversee opening and closing duties, including cash handling and inventory checks.
- Work with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination.
- Enforce restaurant policies, health and safety standards, and company procedures.
- Maintain profitability of outlet by controlling labor and inventory costs (minimizing loss and misuse).
- Support sales initiatives, including upselling and promotions to maximize revenue.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a high-energy, fast-paced setting.
- Experience with POS systems, restaurant seating software and basic financials (preferred).
- A hands-on, team-oriented approach with a passion for hospitality.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
