Reports to: Project Manager, PA Industry Partnership Grant
Employment Status: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Compensation: $25/hour
Benefits: PTO and Holiday Leave; flexible scheduling; reimbursement for travel, phone, and internet.
Location: Hybrid in Pittsburgh/Altoona/Johnstown region.

Position Description
The Case Manager is responsible for providing a variety of case management services to Certified Nurse Aide students, including recruitment, tracking and documenting progress and success in the program, providing career and educational advisement, and connecting students with community resources and services and regional employers.
Responsibilities:
- Build and foster mutually beneficial relationships with potential stakeholders, including nurse aide trainees, employer partners, local workforce and community support agencies, and union representatives.
- Actively recruit potential nurse aide trainees through in-person opportunities, phone, email, and text messaging.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate applicants for program eligibility and suitability.
- Review and process applications and enroll students in the Nurse Aide program.
- Provide career and educational advising to trainees remotely and in-person with the goal of satisfactory course completion and improving employment retention rates.
- Work with Communications director to create and distribute recruitment marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social media content, and advertisements.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct outreach activities to local communities, schools, healthcare organizations, and job fairs to generate awareness and interest in the program.
- Connect students with community resources and services as needed.
- Clearly and effectively communicate training program information and any changes to nurse aide trainees and staff.
- Visit Nurse Aide training sites to check-in with students and address any concerns
- Track and document participant benchmarks, including job retention and wages.
- Professionally represent the Fund’s programs, mission, and values.
- Participate on departmental and organizational committees.
- Attend required meetings, events, and retreats.
Qualifications:
- Prior case management experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Self-directed and able to meet expected outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work through issues that arise and implement solutions.
- Ability to work through issues that arise and implement solutions.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Experience with Zoom, Google Suite, and Salesforce is preferred, but not required.
- Supportive of union environments.
Educational, Licensing and other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Workforce Development, Human Services, Health Science, or related field OR equivalent demonstrated knowledge and work experience.
- Criminal History background check required.
- Valid PA Driver’s license, reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance. Travel within grant region is required.
