Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
As a Collateral Analyst, you are responsible for managing credit exposures through the timely and accurate processing of collateral for Business Insurance loss sensitive insurance programs (includes collateral exhibits, Letters of Credit, surety bonds, cash, and other forms of collateral, and all updates and changes to existing collateral).What Will You Do?
- Review, analyze, and process collateral and legal documentation. Proactively renew expiring collateral and update Credit Risk Management tracking systems with all activity.
- Provide reports on credit exposures (e.g., collateral, escrow, legal positions, etc.) as well as financial/operational reports to leadership.
- Maintain collateral, collateral amendments, and account documentation and update collateral and accounting databases.
- Research and gather industry, prospect, and customer data and information for credit analysis.
- Work with Billing and Collections to respond to client and broker requests for collateral updates, exchanges, reduction letters, and drawings on collateral. Manage with Collateral Analyst the collection of outstanding receivables and controlling financial exposures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Insurance, Economics, or related work experience.
- Three years of experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, or risk assessment.
- Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and understand data.
- Attention to detail with the ability to balance timeliness and accuracy.
- Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to various internal and external audiences.
- Relationship building skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal and external partners.
What is a Must Have?
- One year of experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, underwriting, commercial insurance, operations, or risk assessment.
