What are the responsibilities and job description for the Managing Architect position at The Tribute Companies Inc?
Primary Responsibilities:
Management and development of design services for clients. Production of design, architectural details and documents relating to them. Staff hiring, training and development of team, including client relationships.
Special Functions:
• Serve as one of the firm’s primary contacts with clients. This includes maintaining existing clients, assisting with proposal details, determining client needs and providing services to fulfill those needs.
• Oversee the design team and management to meet the department’s objectives with performance and financial expectations.
• Project management of internal and external projects.
• Ensure effective use of latest technology for maximum efficiency and state-of-the-art design.
• Coordinate preparation of presentation materials, construction plans, specifications and other project documents to ensure a high degree of detail, accuracy and professionalism.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to project documents.
• Track time and expenses for each project and compare to budget to ensure profitability and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate time records for all members of the department and prepare monthly billings
• Overnight travel will be required occasionally.
