What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Designer / CAD Operator position at The Tribute Companies Inc?
Primary Responsibilities: Design and detail schematic, construction, and shop drawings under the supervision of the managing Architect.
Special Functions:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit as the primary application
- Produce schematic designs with alternative solutions to the design for consideration by the client
- 3-D modeling, sketch up and/or strong rendering skills required
- Design/development of schematic design including material selection, quantity take offs and cost estimates
- Coordinate engineering (structural / MEP) needed for completion of construction documents
- Prepare & review accurate, consistent, and complete construction documents and shop drawings
- Modify standard specification manual to coincide with construction documents
- Prepare, revise, and coordinate bid documents for distribution to clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Organize and record documents during all phases of a project
